Swatara Township police were called to a reported shooting at the store located at 3243 Paxton Street at around 8:19 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by a civilian.
An initial investigation found that the shooting followed a verbal altercation between a store employee and the victim.
All parties involved in this shooting have been identified and interviewed.
Police believe there is no further danger to the public as a result of this incident.
An investigation into this shooting is being conducted by members of the Swatara Police Criminal Investigation Division and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office.
